Introduction Training Models Curriculum Modules Learning Tools Assessment Tools MOOC Glossary IENE Community
Project

The project will start with the research on the literature and creating a new and innovative training model based on the PPT/IENE Model, aiming to improve the effectiveness training of different categories of elderly caregivers.

The Model will be the theoretical foundation, which support the creation of an adequate curriculum and suitable training objectives and outputs, adapted to the target groups of migrants working in elders care at home.

The Curriculum modules and topics based on the competences established in the four areas of the Training Model, will guide the learning objective, outputs and learning activities of the online training course and the creation and mapping of the associated training/learning/evaluation materials recommended.

The learning tools and resources will be used in the development of learning activities on the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), an innovative pedagogical approaches based on co-learning through co-creation and digital integration in learning.

Before piloting the MOOC, a European training workshops will be organized for training statutory and voluntary trainers on how to use the MOOC and how to conduct learning and support learning for participants.

The MOOC will be piloted with participants recruited by the partners from the target groups. Other participants are expected to enroll via web.

After completing all modules, the participants will complete the assessment quizzes and the course evaluation questionnaire. They will be graded and will receive certificates with credits for participation in the course.

After the validation phase, the course methodology and content will be available for long time on the project platform and may be used together with the training Model and Curriculum to set up new trainings or even new MOOCs.

To promote the project products, six national seminars, will be organized in the partners’ countries attended by stakeholders and potential users, who will learn how to use the created training model, curriculum and resources to create new trainings.
