Welcome to the IENE projects!

This multilingual website addresses nurses and healthcare professionals working in contact with patients with different cultures and languages and aims to improve the quality of vocational education and training of nurses in Europe.

During the IENE 1, IENE 2, IENE 3, IENE 4 and IENE 5 projects, fourteen partners from eleven European countries developed a Model for Intercultural education of nurses and healthcare professionals based on the Papadopoulos, Tilki and Taylor Model (PTT/IENE MODEL )

National Seminar in Cyprus

The Cyprus National Seminars was organized and implemented on the 4th of May at the Poseidonia Beach Hotel in Limassol, Cyprus.

The The seminar lasted 6 hours and the topics included:
  • Presentation of the project activities and outputs
  • Presentation of the platform and a workshop on how to use the platform
  • Discussion to exchange ideas on ways to use the project results

National Seminar aimed to present the project activities and outputs and attract potential users for the exploitation of the project results, to share resources and contribute to the sustainability of the project results and to create a network at the national level and an opportunity to initiate interestedstakeholders to use the created www.ieneproject.eu platform.

Thirty-five (35) persons - mainly nurses- from all country regions, attended the national seminar in Cyprus.

The Cyprus National Seminar was successful, with positive feedback from the participants.
