Social Status

Social Status represents the social position of a person or a human group within the society/group they belong to. The social positioning is given by both inherited and socially achieved aspects like: gender, occupation, education, income, lifestyle, social prestige or participation in the political/economic/social decision process.
A person's social status is associated with specific rights, duties, opportunities or powers.
