Project

The main tangible product of the project are the knowledge hub, which will benefit nurses , other health professionals and volunteers who are dealing with refugees:

  • healthcare workers/volunteers and refugees/migrants will have easy access to information relevant to migration and wellbeing;

  • the sharing of information and knowledge between healthcare workers/volunteers and refugees/migrants will be facilitated through the KHub portal;

  • healthcare workers/volunteers and refugees/migrants will collaborate to produce relevant information and knowledge that can be shared through the KHub;

  • both healthcare workers/volunteers and refugees/migrants will learn new skills in technology use such as creating blogs and wikis;

  • online communities will be created where healthcare workers/volunteers and refugees/migrants can share stories and information to encourage better understanding of the experiences of each group;

  • healthcare workers/volunteers will have free and easy access to learning tools and training in how to use them to support the psychological and emotional wellbeing of those they work with and of themselves;

  • The project will also produce intangible results relating to the knowledge, skills , attitudes and experience gained by the participants.
