Social Cohesion

In Social Sciences a cohesive social group is characterized by a high level of consensus, adhesion to common goals and cooperative relationships. A cohesive group is easily eliminating internal conflicts and tensions.Cohesion is assuring a high level of conformism for group's members and the latter ones have a tendency of changing their opinions and behaviors according to group's norms.
